Obeya Builder

The Obeya Builder training is a logical follow-up to the Obeya fundamentals training in which you were introduced to Obeya. During the Obeya Builder training you will learn how you will be successful in shaping the Obeya space, managing content and positioning it within an organization's context and infrastructure.

Obeya Builder

The Obeya Buidler training is a workshop. In other words. We omit the slides as much as possible and mainly work together. So lots of exercises, sharing of experiences and ideas. The topics we cover are:

Knowledge: What elements are needed to build an Obeya and make it work for your organization
Skills: How to set up the Obeya and how to effectively interact with the Obeya Host and achieve a state of continuous improvementHow to ensure that the relevant information is properly collected and then properly presented
Behavior: The key to a well-functioning Obeya is proper behavior around accuracy, commitment and honesty. These behavioral components and how to make them effective for the organization are discussed in detail during the Obeya Builder.

OBEYA LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Know what an organization expects from you as an Obeya Builder
Know how the building process works and be able to build an Obeya yourself
Know about Obeya and the PDCA Cycle
Know how to work with the host to effectively deploy the Obeya in the organization
Knowing what behavioral components to help develop in your organization for a successful Obeya
Being able to cascade multiple Obeyas across different organizational layers
Be able to gather relevant information, such as from an OGSM or described goals and key results (OKR), and then use it in a useful way.
