Service Description

An Obeya is only successful when it is guided in the right way. This guidance is reserved for the Obeya Host; who respectfully addresses others on responsibilities and agreements. The Obeya Host guides the process during an Obeya session. Before these sessions, the host also ensures that participants in the Obeya enter the correct data and information into the Obeya and are prepared. Sometimes this requires urgent interventions, so that participants have the right conversation and achieve their goals based on collected facts and management information. Why this Obeya Host training? This training enables you to guide the participants of the Obeya in achieving their results. As an Obeya Host, you use the right behavioral interventions for this. You do this by coaching in formulating desired (measurable) results and possible blockages and by asking the right questions. In role-playing games, you experience together how to do this with the right tone and impact and you learn to apply different influencing techniques. The Obeya Host training ties in with the Obeya Fundamentals and Obeya Builder. In the fundamentals training, you were introduced to the Obeya philosophy and method. With the Obeya Builder, you experienced what it is like to build an Obeya. Now, with the Obeya Host training, you zoom in on the role of Obeya Host. This training is a must for anyone who aspires to or fulfills the role of Obeya Host. For example, you are currently working as a PMO, Business Analyst, Agile/Lean coach, Scrum Master, RTE, Portfolio Manager, etc. What will you learn? * Why and how an Obeya helps in realizing organizational goals; * What Obeya management means and how you advise and coach teams in this; * What is expected of you in the role of Obeya Host; * Which behavior is constructive or destructive in an Obeya; * What is meant by performance-oriented dialogues and how you can conduct them; * Which attitude and behavior is required for a successful deployment of Obeya; * How and which behavioral interventions you can apply and how you can positively influence people with different techniques in different situations; * Determine in what you are going to develop yourself as an Obeya Host, so that you can further develop the Obeya and allow the team to grow further.
